To celebrate our 80th anniversary year as an independent veterinary practice the team decided to tackle the Yorkshire 3 Peaks!
We love a challenge and it was with great relish that we set off on Saturday 16th September to take on the challenge of scaling the peaks of Pen-y-Ghent, Whernside and Ingleborough all within 12-hours.
Fifteen of the team set off armed with water, flapjacks and our all important Bishopton sunglasses. Sadly the sunglasses weren't needed as no amount of manifesting was going to make the sun come out, but the view of the mist at the top was spectacular!
A fun day with great company, lots of fresh air and exercise. Thanks to Team Leader Laura for keeping us on track and motivated and a big thank you to Team Spilman for being our wonderful support team - the hot drinks and Colin the Caterpillar cake were particulary appreciated.
