Established in 2010, we look for innovative research, advanced breeding and training solutions to the food sustainability questions our farmers, vets and industry colleagues ask.

We have a team of leading vets, technicians and PRINCE2 project managers working across the industry to develop innovative research, and bring high quality, practical input and advice to help the livestock industry.

Research

We have the experience, staff and facilities to run trials to good clinical practice in both porcine and bovine sectors. Having been engaged in research linking animal health and welfare innovation with the environment for more than 10 years, we have built an established connection across the livestock sector with key leaders and industry professionals.

Advanced Breeding

Our breeding team are dedicated to building progressive partnerships with our farm clients throughout the country, delivering breeding services for cattle, sheep and pigs to export standards on farm or at our bespoke breeding facilities at Sunley Raynes, which includes a fully licensed embryo and semen storage facility.

Food Futures
Tackling sustainable production challenges

Our strengths lie in understanding the challenges farmers face on the ground, knowing the practicalities of animal production and linking these to innovative research solutions. We offer consultancy services to producer groups, retailers, farmers and the wider industry in the UK, Europe and Globally offering a team approach in specialist skills from pigs to dairy and beef cattle production.

Being focused on producing livestock protein efficiently and working alongside a network of academics and research institutions to address problems on farm from building design, energy and ventilation, to animal nutrition, behaviour and fertility management.

Training

Having been at the heart of agricultural training for over 20 years and continually work with vets, farmers and industry specialists to create and deliver bespoke training courses in order to develop key skills, improving animal health and welfare and growing farm business success.

We hold our own independent DEFRA approved licence for Artificial Insemination, along with practical hoof-care and foot-trimming to the level of NACFT licensed foot trimmer standard through our team of licensed foot trimmers.
